Jaco was the executive director and head of modern and contemporary art at Holly's International Hong Kong. She played a vital role in the Greater Bay Area expansion project, successfully increasing its geographical presence by expanding the existing auction business from Guangzhou to Hong Kong. In 2018, Jaco curated an important exhibition by "Wu Guanzhong: The Landscape of Life", its estimated value exceeded more than HKD 90m. During her tenure, Jaco also hosted several lectures and panels at Art Shenzhen and Art Yangtze Nanjing; a collaborative art + charity event with K11, among others.
In 2008, Jaco began her art career at Sotheby's in Hong Kong and was one of the founding staff members of the 20th Century Chinese department. While at Sotheby's she participated in fine art appraisal, provenance research, art administration, and coordinated auction exhibitions by China's most prestigious modern masters including Xu Beihong, Lin Fengmian, Sanyu, Zao Wou-Ki, Wu Guanzhong, and many others.
In 2012, the demand in the Chinese art market grew at a remarkable speed. Jaco left Sotheby's to become deputy director at the Longmen Art Project in Shanghai, where she concentrated on China's art loop. There she was actively involved in the ambitious art fair curatorial projects, such as ART021, Art Beijing, Art Taipei, and Art Stage Singapore, etc. In 2014 Jaco returned to Sotheby's as a specialist in modern and contemporary art in Beijing, with a focus on the business expansion project at the Beijing Tianzhu Free Trade Zone. She has worked on some of the most significant collections of Chinese contemporary art to come up for auction, including artists Zeng Fanzhi, Zhang Xiaogang, Liu Wei, Zhang Enli, and Mao Yan. During her tenure in China, Jaco developed long-standing relationships with the most influential and sophisticated Chinese collectors, art galleries, and museums.
After 2016, Jaco developed the business into an independent art consultancy paired with art investment. She has overseen the acquisition of multi-million-dollar corporate art collections, featuring artists such as Picasso, Vincent van Gogh, Willem de Kooning, Andy Warhol, Yayoi Kusama, Damien Hirst, etc.
Born and raised in Hong Kong, Jaco earned a Master of Business Administration degree from Macquarie University, Australia.
